L’ASVEL Villeurbanne cambiato coach nel fine settimana: Gianmarco Pozzecco è stato licenziato a soli due mesi dalla firma con il club francese.
In seguito alla separazione, il presidente dell’ASVEL Tony Parker in un’intervista a “L’Equipe” e ha espresso il suo disappunto per le prestazioni e la gestione di Pozzecco.
Parker ha criticato l’allenatore italiano, affermando che Pozzecco si è apparentemente arreso e si è concentrato esclusivamente sul suo guadagno economico, rifiutandosi di attuare la strategia concordata con il club.
Andrea Trinchieri commenta l’uscita di Parker su Pozzecco
In risposta a questi eventi, Andrea Trinchieri, nuovo coach dello Zalgiris Kaunas, ha condiviso il suo pensiero sull’uscita di Tony Parker in conferenza stampa prima della sfida contro il Valencia Basket.
“Gli allenatori sono quelli che di solito pagano il prezzo più alto per i risultati negativi. Questo è molto comune, ed è quello che è. Questo non cambierà. A volte è più facile cambiare un allenatore che provare a sistemare quello che non va, i giocatori e cose del genere. Credo che una società possa prendere la decisione di cambiare l’allenatore. È un loro diritto . Allo stesso tempo, credo che essere un gentiluomo e non parlare attraverso i media può sempre aiutare“.
“Non conosco la situazione. Non ero presente. Ma so che a volte il modo di allenare di Gianmarco Pozzecco può essere divisivo, perché lui è molto emotivo e dà tutto, e qualsiasi cosa io dica non sarà la cosa giusta. Ecco, lui è questo tipo di allenatore“.
“Credo che possa darti delle cose importanti: l’aspetto emotivo, anche perché giocando ogni 48 ore, a volte, l’aspetto emotivo è l’unica cosa di cui ti devi occupare. Ma non è mai positivo per la categoria degli allenatori esporre questioni interne sui media. È una cosa che non farei, ma non sono il proprietario di una squadra“.
