Quarta sconfitta consecutiva per la Nutribullet Treviso in uno dei quattro anticipi della quinta giornata di LBA dinanzi a una Pallacanestro Trieste frizzante e cinica nell’allungo finale valso il 95-100 alla sirena lunga, complici anche i problemi di falli pesanti del duo veneto composto da Harrison e Bowman. Per i padroni di casa si tratta del secondo ko di fila al Palaverde dopo quello del 20 ottobre scorso contro Trento. Gli ospiti, al contrario, con questi due punti riaprono prontamente la corsa al vertice e cancellano il passo falso casalingo con Reggio Emilia.
Nutribullet Treviso-Pallacanestro Trieste: l’analisi del match
La bolgia del Palaverde di Villorba fa da cornice a una serata dall’alto punteggio a tabellone e all’interno della quale ritmo e dinamismo non permettono mai alle due compagini di guidare con forza la contesa fino a pochi minuti dal termine. Trieste ha la forza di restare con la testa sulla partita malgrado la partenza sprint dei padroni di casa che non si esaurisce fino alla pausa lunga. A dir poco disastroso l’avvio di ripresa di Olisevicius e compagni, i quali pagano la scarsa percentuale oltre l’arco (2/7) che fino a quel momento aveva permesso un grande avvio di match.
Continuano, inoltre, i problemi a rimbalzo in casa di una Nutribullet che per la seconda serata consecutiva viene doppiata nel fondamentale (13 a 29) dalla squadra rivale. L’assenza prolungata di Pauly Paulicap dall’incontro potrebbe, chissà, nascondere fresche sirene di mercato in merito a un prossimo avvio del lungo americano con un conseguente cambio della guardia vicino ai tabelloni. Treviso non sfrutta a dovere le 22 palle perse ospiti, un po’ recitando lo stesso copione visto nel recente appuntamento contro Trento. Si intravede una certa fluidità offensiva, concentrata, perlopiù, nella prima metà di gara e i 21 assist a referto testimoniano positivamente questo fattore.
I meriti di Trieste riguardano, viceversa, non tanto il fronte difensivo, come si evince dai 95 punti subiti (massimo stagionale dei veneti) ma l’ottimo flusso di un attacco che ha sempre l’arma giusta per far male. Tocca quota 76.5 % la percentuale al tiro da due punti, così come ottima è quella oltre l’arco (13/28 per il 46.5 % totale). Da rivedere, infine, la prestazione ai liberi in virtù dei tanti viaggi in lunetta concessi dalla Nutribullet (21/31).

A livello individuale ruba la scena la guardia ex Varese con 30 punti, 3 rimbalzi e 6 assist a referto, malgrado le 9 palle perse che sporcano (per sua fortuna) in maniera indolore una super prestazione. Segue a ruota un frizzante Markel Brown da 18 punti, 6 rimbalzi e ben 8 falli subiti (10/13 ai liberi). Praticamente perfetto, inoltre, un solidissimo Jarrod Uthoff da 13 punti (5/6 dal campo), 4 rimbalzi e 2 palle recuperate. Sul fronte trevigiano si rivede un ottimo Alston da 17 punti, mentre non bastano i 16 e 6 assist di un battagliero Harrison così come i 26 e 7 di un commovente Olisevicius, autore di una gara magistrale impreziosita da un pesantissimo 5/8 da tre punti.
