In questi giorni le ventidue franchigie NBA convocate ad Orlando hanno effettuato il loro trasferimento nella location “bolla“. Secondo le linee guida riportate all’interno del piano di ripresa, entro ieri sera tutte le squadre dovrebbero aver raggiunto il punto di ritrovo designato negli scorsi mesi.
Come era stato comunicato in precedenza, i giocatori avranno a disposizione l’accesso alle strutture di svago appartenenti al Walt Disney World Resort. Tra queste, saranno presenti una serie di attività e giochi a tema accessibili, ovviamente, solo attraverso una prenotazione con almeno quarantotto ore di anticipo.
E’ chiaro che il commissioner Adam Silver, massima autorità per quanto riguarda la gestione della lega, sta cercando attraverso queste concessioni di rendere l’esperienza nella bolla il più gradevole ed accessibile possibile. Mercoledì sera, l’NBA ha inviato un messaggio a tutti i suoi atleti all’interno del quale sono state elencate le attrazioni accessibili settimana per settimana. Essendo il programma del parco divertimenti organizzato ad eventi, i giocatori riceveranno con un giorno di pre-avviso la lista delle strutture e delle attività da poter svolgere.
Gli hobby e le passioni sono di diverso tipo, specialmente tra i giocatori, perciò la maggiore lega di pallacanestro statunitense ha cercato di accontentare tutti. L’attività, almeno all’apparenza più accattivante, sembrerebbe essere un giro sull’Expedition Everest, montagna russa tra le più popolari e coinvolgenti del parco divertimenti. In un secondo momento, gli atleti presenti ad Orlando potranno anche usufruire di tre diversi tipi di corsi a tema golf.
Tali corsi saranno disponibili sei giorni su sette, per un numero massimo di quattro persone a giro. Occhi aperti su Mike Conley, Kyle Korver, e J.R. Smith, esperti di questo sport.
Verso fine luglio, anche le escursioni in barca saranno accessibili. Il tour, per un numero limite di cinque partecipanti, durerà massimo due ore e concederà a chi ne prenderà parte anche la possibilità di dedicarsi alla pesca. Guida personale, canne da pesca, mulinello, esche artificiali ed esche vive, saranno tutti forniti dagli organizzatori. Saranno inoltre utilizzabili delle moto d’acqua, però, attenzione: non sarà concesso portare alcool a bordo per la buona salute di tutti.
Infine, sempre verso fine mese, saranno accessibili piste da bowling a partire dalle diciannove, massimo tre volte alla settimana. A tali attività ricreative bisogna ovviamente aggiungere barbieri, estetisti, tavoli da biliardo, piscine, campi da tennis, bici e sale con postazioni di NBA 2K20, tutti disponibili presso i rispettivi hotel.
